Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) Administrator to manage, architect, secure, and optimize enterprise IDMC environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in IDMC platform onboarding, Secure Agent architecture, security and access management, environment administration, monitoring, automation, release management, and operational governance.
The role will work closely with architecture, infrastructure, security, application, data engineering, and business teams to ensure a highly available, secure, compliant, and reliable IDMC platform supporting enterprise data integration and governance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
IDMC Administration & Architecture
• Architect, onboard, configure, and manage enterprise IDMC environments across cloud and hybrid
landscapes.
• Manage the IDMC lifecycle, including implementation, upgrades, maintenance, and operational readiness.
• Provide architecture and infrastructure guidance across multiple Informatica environments.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards.
Secure Agent & Connectivity
• Design and administer Secure Agents and high-availability, multi-node Secure Agent Groups.
• Implement fault-tolerant and load-balanced architectures to minimize downtime.
• Establish secure connectivity between IDMC, on-premises databases, cloud applications, and enterprise
systems.
• Automate Secure Agent installation, registration, and configuration.
Security & Access Management
• Implement RBAC, least-privilege access, user/group administration, and access policies.
• Integrate IDMC with enterprise identity providers using SAML-based SSO.
• Implement network restrictions, credential management, SSL certificate management, and security controls.
Support security documentation, compliance tracking, and audit readiness.
Monitoring & Operations
• Implement monitoring for agent health, resource utilization, connectivity, and platform performance.
• Develop operational utilities and automation to reduce manual effort and improve uptime.
• Perform proactive maintenance, environment cleanup, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Establish controls to ensure reliable data processing and prevent data loss or inconsistencies.
Release Management & Automation
• Define and enforce development, deployment, and release management standards across environments.
• Develop scripts and automation for administration, monitoring, compliance, and operational activities.
• Establish consistent deployment and environment management practices.
• Documentation & Enablement
• Create and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and operational documentation for administration, security, deployment, SSL certificates, and release management.
• Conduct training and enablement sessions for business users, application owners, developers, and data teams.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in Informatica administration, with strong hands-on IDMC/IICS experience.
• Strong expertise in IDMC architecture, onboarding, configuration, and administration.
• Hands-on experience with Secure Agent deployment, clustering, high availability, and connectivity.
• Experience with RBAC, SAML SSO, IAM, SSL certificates, network security, and credential management.
• Experience with IDMC monitoring, troubleshooting, release/deployment management, and operational
support.
• Strong scripting/automation skills using PowerShell, Python, Shell, or equivalent.
• Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting large enterprise or regulated environments.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with IDMC Data Integration and Data Governance capabilities.
• Informatica IDMC/IICS certification is a plus.
• Experience with ITIL, DevOps, or enterprise change/release management practices.
