QA Engineer - (Swift)

Roles & Responsibilities Perform manual functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing for payment applications and systems. Validate payment message flows for SWIFT MT/MX messages and ISO 20022 message types, including PACS (Payment Clearing and Settlement) and CAMT (Cash Management). Review and analyze business and functional requirements to create detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test data. Execute test cases to ensure payment processing accuracy, including validation of message transformation, enrichment, routing, and settlement. Identify, document, and track defects using standard defect management tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or similar tools. Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and support teams to ensure high-quality deliverables and timely issue resolution. Participate in test planning, test execution, and test closure activities. Ensure compliance with SWIFT and ISO 20022 messaging standards. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and post-production verification activities as required. Qualifications & Experience 5–13 years of hands-on experience in manual testing within the Payments, Banking, or Financial Services domain. Strong knowledge of SWIFT MT and MX messages, including message validation and transformation. Experience with ISO 20022 payment messages, including: PACS: pacs.008, pacs.009 CAMT: camt.052, camt.053, camt.054 Good understanding of the payment processing lifecycle, clearing and settlement, and bank-to-bank messaging. Experience working with test management tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or Zephyr. Ability to write SQL queries for backend data and transaction validation. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
